Ian Rawley became a Christian in 1974 and was dramatically baptised in the Holy Spirit soon afterwards. After studying history in the USA, he read law at Cambridge University and completed his legal studies in London, becoming a barrister in 1980.
Ian subsequently went to Bible College in preparation for ‘full-time’ Christian ministry, where he met and married Carole. After graduating, they pastored churches in South Wales and West Yorkshire and currently pastor ‘New Life Church’, Cambridge. Through their clear prophetic and teaching ministry, Ian and Carole work closely with Alan and Betty Scotland in the care and oversight of the churches in the UK and the USA that are part of Lifelink International, as well as ministering to the wider church. Ian is Vice-Chairman of the Boards of both Lifelink International and Global Horizons as well as Vice-Principal of Trinity School of Theology. He also sits part-time as a local magistrate.
Carole works part-time as a tutor at Homerton College, Cambridge, helping to train primary school teachers. They have four children; one son who has just finished Sixth Form College, one son who is about to graduate from ‘Trinity School of Theology’, one married son who is working alongside them in ‘New Life Church’ and one married daughter, who lives and works in London.
