Alan and Betty Scotland have been involved in Christian ministry for over 25 years. God spoke to Alan at the age of 10 about serving God in the nations. By the age of 15 Alan knew God was calling him to ministry and after training as a nurse, both Alan and Betty studied at the Bible College of Wales.
Alan pastored churches in Merseyside and Essex travelling extensively throughout the UK and internationally into Africa, USA, South America, China, Hong Kong and on the mainland of Europe. He now leads Lifelink Churches Working Together, an Apostolic company carrying oversight to churches in the UK and USA with links to associated churches and streams in Africa, South America and Asia.
Alan also serves on the faculty of the Bible College of Wales and is involved in Radio ministry through UCB (United Christian Broadcasters). Alan is chairman of the charitable trust Lifelink International.
“God has awakened me to a whole new phase of ministry by my apostolic commissioning. I was made aware that God was looking to unlock ministry resource in people so that we are positioned for the imminent world wide harvest, ” says Alan. Alan is keen to develop mutual life-joint relationships across the wider church that are inclusive not exclusive. His vision is to see the church sharing the love of Jesus world wide. “I have a strong impression from God not to desert the nations struggling with poverty but to empower the people.”
