O2H is a grant-giving organisation with Christ centred community based development at the core of its mission and outreach. Christ’s heart of compassion toward the poor is the driving force behind O2H as it seeks to help overcome poverty through empowerment.O2H is a tool to equip Churches Working Together to make a difference in their local communities and across the nations. It is registered as part of the charity Lifelink International.How is O2H different to other Charities? It is 100% voluntary, so you are guaranteed that your gift goes directly to help others. It works directly with trusted partners, recommended by its membership and Lifelink contacts. If you become a member you can also apply for funds to support initiatives that you or your community are involved with in this country and overseas.
Why become a member? Becoming a member of O2H provides you with the opportunity to bring HOPE through supporting projects and training in disadvantaged communities. Through giving as little as £5/month ($10) you can be a part of a ministry that helps overcome poverty through empowerment. O2H is not just about finance, it is about giving your time in prayer and for those who really have a passion to reach out to the poor, you may feel that you would like to volunteer your time on the management Board, which meets quarterly. As a representative of the O2H membership on the Board you will be closely involved firsthand in seeing where the funds are dispersed and the development initiatives that are being supported.
Since beginning, O2H has raised over £96,642 ($150,000 USD).
