Lifelink USA National Elders Gathering - March 2010

Entitled, “Faith To Live In Changing Seasons”,  The USA National Elder’s Gathering held at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel, Grand Rapids, MI was very helpful and relational. There was much time given to just enjoying each other. The speaking sessions featured: Alan Scotland, Ian Rawley, Tom Kyle, and Malcolm Magee.

Each church shared their vision and ministry followed by a time of prayer for each church. The men spent Wednesday morning sharing prepared papers and the women met together to encourage and share. The final night, there was a banquet in the Ford Ballroom. There were 56 of our leaders in attendance.

The following are videos of some of the sermons. If you would like to download the audio only, just go to: http://lifelinkinternational.org/index.php/audio/more/category/usa-national-elders-gathering/

New Life Church Rugby Sets In A New Elder, Andrew Scotland

On the 28th of February, the New Life Church in Rugby, UK laid hands on Andrew Scotland. There were elders from several churches in the UK and the USA as they celebrated the very important meeting. The following video is a short summary of the entire ordination celebration.

From the desk of Joel Onesimus

I thought of “blotting all my sin away” of not being faithful in my communication to you over the months and years. Truly, (I am due to inform you many months) I am repenting with sackcloth, folded hands, sitting in ashes and dust. I hope you would grant me the grace to continue as your friend and read this recent news update, both of my family and the Churches Together Fellowship Network.
With much gratitude both unto the Lord and towards you, I pen these few lines. If not, for His grace and your faithful support and prayers, I would not be where I am now.

Rekai Orphanage Update

The Orphanage in Zimbabwe is just about finished. Barry arrived in Harare, Zimbabwe on January 6th. There were three purposes of the visit: to see the new orphanage project in Nyanga, to relate to church leaders in Zimbabwe, and train 50 church leaders.

The founder of the Rekai Orphanage is Livingstone & Lena Nerwande. He is also the leader of a network of churches called “Holy Cross”.  The project has been spearheaded by Claire Baggley, a godly and dedicated young woman. Livingstone has a close relationship with the Letchworth and Dunstable churches in Lifelink.

Take a look at the video and see how far the project has come.
