History
How we started
Lifelink International was birthed simply out of churches relating together, particularly facilitated by the apostolic ministry of Alan Scotland. The desire of the churches was simply to strengthen one another in relationship for the good of the gospel and the extension of the kingdom both locally and globally. This continues to be the core ethos of Lifelink.
In addition to local impact, Lifelink churches carry relationship and ministry connections, both old and new, into a number of countries, including India, China, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Argentina.
In 2002 trustees involved with Lifelink International were asked to assume leadership of the Bible College of Wales. Since that time Lifelink has worked closely with the college in its equipping of men and women for impact for the kingdom. In stewarding the legacy of the college, trustees have sought to extend its impact into other nations where bible training is much need.
This has lead to the establishing of the Colleges Working Together relationship of colleges which includes UK training as well as colleges and training initiatives in the USA, South Africa, Zambia and India with further relationships developing. As part of the desire to better steward the resource of the college, in 2009 the UK training base relocated from Swansea to Rugby, England and now operates under the name Trinity School of Theology. Both TST and the international training ventures all work closely with the relationship of churches represented by Lifelink.
In November 2009, Alan Scotland announced the intention of the Lifelink leadership to continue and expand the global reach of the churches with further details to be unfolded over the course of 2010 and beyond.
